Qigong for Summer

Meet: Thursdays 30th June - 21st July

When our Heart qi wanes, we can feel a lack of joy and a sense of losing the spark of life, or of not being able to fulfil the potential we have. Supporting ourselves with a practice that feeds and balances the Heart energy can help to bring back the warmth of our compassionate connection with all of life, feed our spirit, and remind us of the divine in ourselves and others.

'Qigong for summer’ classes are designed to nourish the Heart and Small Intestine, which are working hardest in the summer season. The forms and exercises we will practise are chosen for their ability to balance the Heart qi, nourish Heart yin and calm excess yang, weaving in some heart-based breath meditation too. Starting at the Octagonal in Barracks Lane Community Garden on Thursdays 7.45 - 9pm, from 30th June - 21st July.
